Meet our Praise and Worship Leaders
 
 
 
Bro. Johnny Hand, Worship Leader 
 
Johnny started singing in church when he was 5 years old and got saved when he was 11. He grew up listening to the music sung by his grandmother and her gospel group. To this day he has a very special place in his heart for those classic hymns of faith. Johnny is an ordained deacon and  has served as our Worship Leader since August 2010. He also coaches and plays on the church softball and volleyball teams (Go,CFB!) He also enjoys announcing football games for the Franklin County Rebels and the South Middle School Trojans. Johnny and his wife Kristi of 13 years have been members of Cowan First Baptist Church since 2005 and they are proud parents of two year old twin daughters. Johnny feels it's a privilege to lead our Celebration Choir and our congregation as we glorify Him through song and musical worship.
