MISSIONS

Missions are an integral part of the Southern Baptist Convention, and Cowan First Baptist is no exception. We are excited about what God is doing through our Missions Ministry as we reach out together. God continues to bless us with an incredible harvest in Cowan and the world. We are excited to see how God is moving in Cowan and the world for Christ.

While not all of us are able to serve in the mission field, we are able to give to missions. To that end, CFBC participates in many missions offerings throughout the year under the umbrella of WMU (Women’s Missionary Union), which was established as an auxiliary of the Southern Baptist Convention over a century ago. Some of those offerings and seasons of prayer include:

As a church, CFBC performs community ministries to aid those in need in our county. Our Feed 37318 Food Ministry provides meals and support to all who have a need. We provide meals and transportation for families in need within our church and in the community. We have an active card ministry and prayer ministry, as well.
