a great place to belong.......
![]() Keith Carnley, Worship Leader
Keith Carnley was saved in Vacation Bible School when he was 10 years old. He has been married for 27 years and has 2 grown sons and a daughter-in-law. He is an ordained Minister and an ordained Deacon. He has taught middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults in Sunday school, Bible study, and Discipleship Training over the years, and he very much enjoys imparting those “light-bulb” moments from God’s Word.
Keith’s music background began in middle school and continued through high school, where he played clarinet in both the concert and marching bands. He also plays the guitar and dulcimer.
Keith began singing in the adult choir at a church in Florida, his home state. It was there, under the tutelage of an amazing Minister of Music, Ed Morton, where his love for gospel music and Biblical drama blossomed. Keith later served for four years as Minister of Music in another local church in Florida.
Keith has been a part of several gospel quartets and ensembles over the years and enjoys a variety of Christian music from hymns to bluegrass to praise and worship to the occasional rap song (Toby Mac).
Praise and Worship - Love from the Heart Many people think that praise and worship is only singing songs at church, but it is so much more! It is also a condition of your heart -- a willingness to exalt God and yield to his will. Worship is an expression of love and awe to the God who gives us more than we deserve. Whether you express your worship by singing, playing music, dancing, or in some other way, remember that you are called to worship God with your every action, every day of your life. God is holy, loving, and worthy of all our worship and devotion. ![]() Teresa Brown

Praise & Worship
Psalm 40:3 -“ And He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear, and will trust in the Lord.”
Celebration Choir , led by Bro. Keith Carnley
CFBC "Celebration Choir" is a praise and worship group of dedicated folks that use their God-given talents to proclaim His glory and celebrate His presence. The Celebration Choir sings every Sunday morning and shares special presentations throughout the year, such as the Easter and Christmas Cantatas.
![]() This ministry exists and functions in order to magnify God. Our purpose is to provide a ministry that will help contribute to bringing people to Jesus Christ and to equip and encourage believers to discover and use their talents in the worshiping of God.
The music ministry at Cowan strives for excellence in training believers to utilize the gift of music for the glory of God. Because God gave of His best, we, too, want to offer our best to Him through praise, worship, and thanksgiving. We encourage you to join us! Your life will be enriched and others will be blessed because of you.
Our Choir is open to anyone who wants to worship God. Your effectiveness in the choir will depend on your heart, not your voice. Our desire is to offer a gift of excellence, ever dependent upon the leading of the Holy Spirit. Opportunities for participation as a soloist, a group vocalist, or instrumentalist are always welcome; contact Keith Carnley for more information. Contact Keith Carnley by e-mail here.
We meet every Wednesday in the sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. for practice. Come join us!
