Children

I was saved at the age of 11 and cannot imagine my life without Jesus! I have been married to Keith for 27 years and have 2 grown sons, Eli and Wesley, and a daughter-in-law, Jeana. I love to read, scrapbook, and make hand-made cards. I have even written some non-fiction.

I taught exceptional student education in public schools in Georgia and Florida for 13 years and homeschooled my boys for 9 years. I have been involved in many aspects of church ministry, including Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Women’s Ministry since 1994. With the onset of my “empty nest”, I realized how much I missed teaching children, so last year I started a new class for 1^st – 5^th graders on Wednesday nights.

I’m looking forward to working with all of the children at Cowan. We’re gonna have a blast!

Welcome to our Children's Ministry page. Here at Cowan First Baptist, our goal is to teach our children about the transformational power of Jesus Christ, to lead our children to a personal relationship with Christ, and continue to guide the children to focus their minds, personalities, attitudes, and strengths on God.
